Happy New Year everyone! Here at Bumbumbee Creative we hope this year is \u2013 an unconventional one – filled with vim and vigour, inspiration, boldness, exuberance, joyous optimism and lots of Magenta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year\u2019s Pantone Colour of the Year is\u2026 drumroll please\u2026 Viva Magenta. We love a splash of Magenta here as it has such a rebellious spirit – it\u2019s self-expression without restraint (yes Rosie and Adam I\u2019m thinking about you as I type this).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Given the hardships so many of us faced over the last few years around the world, it feels like Viva Magenta exudes an upbeat strength and confidence. It\u2019s the strong motherly hug combined with the push out the door that says, \u2018come on now – you can do it \u2013 get out there in the world \u2013 the time is now\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So instead of New Year\u2019s Resolutions \u2013 let\u2019s think about our Themes for 2023. Let\u2019s look at life through the lens of Viva Magenta. Let\u2019s celebrate humanity at its best with compassion and connectedness. Let\u2019s be fierce but fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If the last three years have been tough for you, but the prospect of getting out there in the world again feels a bit too raw \u2013 it\u2019s time to draw comfort and confidence from Viva Magenta. Maybe it\u2019s time to create a new narrative \u2013 a new story \u2013 or if that\u2019s just a step too far right now – perhaps at least new d\u00e9cor or a bold new hair colour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
